With Intention was created with the belief that meaningful, lasting change happens when people feel truly seen, supported, and empowered. Our vision is to provide a space where clients can slow down, explore the roots of their struggles, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others. We are committed to offering care that is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and practical, bridging deep insight with tools you can use in everyday life. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, our hope is to help people build resilience, strengthen connections, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Our Mission

At With Intention, we believe healing happens in connection, not isolation. Our approach blends trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, and attachment-focused therapy to create space for vulnerability, resilience, and real change.

We meet people exactly where they are, with curiosity, empathy, and perspective. We don’t just treat symptoms. We look at the whole person: body and mind, past and present, individual experiences and relationships. Together, we build a path toward meaningful, lasting change and a life where people can thrive.

Our clients don’t just leave with a list of coping skills. They leave with a different relationship with themselves, a deeper understanding of the patterns that shape their lives, and new ways of connecting with the people who matter most.

That’s the work. That’s the intention.

Our Values

Our values shape how we show up, how we approach the work, and how we build relationships with the people who trust us to be part of their growth.

Connection & Collaboration

Meaningful change happens in relationship. Trust, safety, and genuine presence create the conditions for growth, whether that connection is with a therapist, with the people in your life, or with yourself. We work with people, not on them, and we believe change happens through collaboration, shared curiosity, and respect for each person's expertise in their own life.

People are shaped by their history, their relationships, their environment, and their strengths, not just what's showing up on the surface. We don't reduce people to symptoms, diagnoses, or difficult seasons. We approach people with curiosity rather than judgment. Instead of asking, "What's wrong with you?" we ask: What happened? What did you learn to do to survive? What do you need now?

Curiosity over Judgement

Safety
and Vulnerability

Authentic vulnerability requires safety. With safety, we can begin to explore honestly what hurts, what matters, and what needs to change, while recognizing the ways someone has already adapted, survived, and found ways to keep going. We don't ask anyone to be vulnerable before they're ready. We build the safety first.

Change happens on two levels. Practical tools and techniques help people navigate day to day, offering real relief when it's needed most. But tools alone don't always create lasting change. Deeper change comes from understanding and working with the patterns underneath: where they came from, what they protected you from, and whether they still serve the life you're building now. We believe both matter, and neither one replaces the other.

Tools and Transformation

Living wIth Intention

Ultimately, our work is about creating more room for choice: the choice to respond instead of react, to connect instead of protect, and to build a life that reflects who you are and what matters most to you. Choosing how you show up in your life, in your relationships, and for yourself is what it means to live with intention.
