Erin Roepcke, LCSW | Therapy for Stress, Burnout & Relationships

Provider Identification & Licensure
Erin Roepcke, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and a TLHT Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I see clients in person in Tucson, Arizona, and provide telehealth to clients located in Arizona and Florida.
Primary Fit Anchor
I work with adults, couples, and families navigating chronic stress, burnout, relationship strain, and changing roles. Many of my clients are people who others see as capable, responsible, and dependable but who are feeling the effects of carrying significant responsibility over time.

My work focuses on helping clients understand and change the patterns contributing to stress and disconnection and build more sustainable ways of relating to themselves and the people who matter to them.
Strong Match Indicators
I commonly work with:

-
Women Who Do Too Much: Women who are often seen as capable and dependable but have become overextended by the demands of relationships, family, or work. You may be used to anticipating what others need, keeping things running, or putting your own needs aside—and find yourself increasingly exhausted, resentful, or unsure how to step back without feeling guilty.

-
Men Navigating Loneliness, Loss, and Changing Relationships: Men who have spent much of their lives working hard, solving problems, being dependable, and handling difficult things on their own. You may be dealing with grief, loneliness, divorce or separation, retirement, or changes in relationships with a partner or adult children—and find yourself feeling angry, disconnected, unwanted, or unsure what to do next. You may have never been to therapy before and aren't even sure what you would talk about. We can start with what's hard right now and what you wish were even a little bit different.

-
Couples: Partners who are committed to their relationship but feel stuck in patterns that aren't working. You may want to communicate more effectively, feel more connected, understand what keeps happening between you, and build a relationship that works better for both partners.

-
Families with Teens and Adults: Families who care about one another but feel stuck in old roles, boundaries, or expectations. This may include parents and teens or adult children, adult siblings, blended families, and families navigating caregiving or changing roles who want healthier ways of relating to one another.

Depending on what you need, that work may take different forms:

-
Therapy may be appropriate when stress, trauma, relational wounds, or recurring emotional and relationship patterns are affecting your well-being and you want clinical support. Psychotherapy is available to clients located in Arizona and Florida.

-
Coaching may be appropriate when you are functioning well overall and want practical, forward-focused support with boundaries, communication, decisions, relationships, roles, or responsibilities. Virtual coaching is available to adults throughout the United States.

-
Therapy intensives may be appropriate when you want dedicated time to focus on a specific issue through EMDR or relationship-focused therapy, particularly when weekly sessions are difficult to fit into your schedule or you feel stuck around a particular issue in ongoing therapy. Therapy intensives are available to clients located in Arizona and Florida.

-
Workshops and retreats may be appropriate when you want a non-clinical group experience focused on learning, reflection, skill-building, connection, or personal growth rather than individualized mental health treatment.

Not the Right Fit
To ensure you get the right level of support, my practice may not be the best fit if:

-
You require in-network insurance. I am a strictly private-pay practice.

-
You need immediate, crisis-level mental health support.

-
You are a couple in an acute relationship crisis, actively deciding whether to remain together, or seeking a “last-chance” effort to save the relationship.

-
You are seeking therapy for young children. My family work focuses on late adolescence and adults.

Therapeutic Approach & Style
My approach is active and collaborative. I provide therapy for chronic stress, relational disconnection, trauma and relational wounds, and life transitions by integrating different therapeutic approaches based on what we are working on together.

-
Attachment-Focused EMDR and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) may be used to address trauma, chronic stress, and old relational wounds.

-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) may be used to help with burnout, boundaries, and making choices based on what matters most to you.

-
The Gottman Method and communication skills training may be used with couples and families to understand ineffective patterns and develop practical ways of communicating and relating differently.

The goal isn't simply to talk about what's happening. We work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck while developing practical ways to create change.
Credentials & Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience working with adults, couples, and families. I have advanced training in trauma and relationship-focused approaches, including EMDR, Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), the Gottman Method, and Restoration Therapy.

My additional training includes Triple P Parenting, PAX Tools, and the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) credential.

My work particularly focuses on chronic stress and burnout, recurring relationship patterns, trauma and relational wounds, and changing family roles.
