Olivia Avanzato, MA, LAC, is a counselor and expressive arts therapist who believes therapy can be creative, engaging, and even playful. She works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, breakups, self-esteem, identity, and the many transitions that come with figuring out who you are and where you are going.

 

With a background in counseling, expressive arts, movement, dance, theater, and group facilitation, Olivia brings creativity naturally into the therapy space. Sessions might include art, music, writing, movement, psychodrama, or imagination alongside traditional talk therapy. There is no pressure to be "creative" or good at any particular art form. The goal is simply to find ways of exploring and expressing what you are experiencing that feel meaningful to you.

Olivia's style is warm, collaborative, curious, and down to earth. She believes there is no single right way to do therapy and enjoys helping clients discover what works for them. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, healing from a breakup, moving through a major transition, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself, experiment with new ways of coping, and find your way forward.

 

Olivia holds a master's degree in Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy and is a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona. She currently provides virtual counseling to teens and young adults throughout Arizona through With Intention Counseling.
